The NCBI identifier NP_045368 is stated to be used for US3 protein. For US3 protein the top level TAX_id is 10320 (BHV-1) corresponding to UniProt Q76PF3-which has 100% identity to NP_045368 protein,which  is used here. A minor difference from the US3 sequence in NP_045368 was noted, such that in strain 108, bases 319, 324, 325 and 327 are guanine instead of adenine.
For VP22 protein the NCBI entry NP_045310 is used in the study. NP_045310 is 100% match to P30022 - Cooper strain, which is confirmed by following up references (from PMID:15650221).</attribute>
