ONTOLOGY REPORTS
================

These reports document the weekly changes in the Gene Ontology v1.2 OBO format file, found at

http://www.geneontology.org/ontology/editors/gene_ontology_write.obo

Reports are available in three forms:

* detailed reports of all ontology changes, named weekly-yyyy-mm-dd.html and weekly-yyyy-mm-dd.txt for the html and text versions respectively;

* less detailed reports, named weekly-med-yyyy-mm-dd.html and weekly-med-yyyy-mm-dd.txt

* report of definition changes only, named weekly-defs-yyyy-mm-dd.html


Please note that any annotation counts are correct for the date the report was produced, but may now be out of date.

Daily reports of term additions and obsoletions are available as an RSS feed from the GO website:

feed://geneontology.org/rss/obs_term.rss - term obsoletions

These will soon be available via mailing list for those who do not use RSS.
