gene_orthologs_supplemental                        DEPRECATED

           report of orthologous genes

           tab-delimited
           one line per pair of GeneIDs
           Column header line is the first line in the file.

           The column format is the same as the gene_orthologs file.  In this
           file, the relationship column value is always "Ortholog".

           This file reports orthologs for insects vs D. melanogaster
           (txid7227), which aren't currently exposed in NCBI Gene due to
           technical limitations. Nomenclature, RefSeqs, Gene Ontology, and
           other useful information can be collected per GeneID from the
           gene_info, gene2refseq, gene2go, and other files.

           The contents of this file are integrated into the gene_orthologs
           file as of May 14, 2024. Due to some technical reasons, an empty 
           file will be retained at this location for a limited time.
