and analytical ultracentrifugation) we can deduce that Cest-2923 behaves in solution as an associative
system well described by two equilibria, namely, a fast equilibrium between species with molecular masses consistent with monomers and dimers and another, much faster one between dimeric and
tetrameric species, and secondly that the crystallization process is an active player in selecting a preexisting
oligomeric form: dimers at neutral conditions, tetramers at acidic ones.</attribute>
