STATIC WEB ASSETS FOR ENSEMBL NON-VERTEBRATE DIVISION

   (bacteria, fungi, metazoa, plants and protists)

As of EG release 48 (August 2020), we will no longer be supplying static web assets 
as downloadable gzip files from this site.

Instead, please follow these instructions:

1. Clone the ensembl-static Git repository (https://github.com/EnsemblGenomes/ensembl-static) 
into the same directory as your other Ensembl repos

2. Checkout the branch corresponding to your other EG repositories, i.e. release/eg/xx

3. Run the utility script in ensembl-static/scripts to copy the relevant content to your site. 
For example:

perl ./scripts/copy_files_to_website.pl --release=101-48 --division=plants

Note that the release number must include both the Ensembl software release and the 
Ensembl Genomes site release versions.
