http://www.berkeleybop.org/obo/quickterm/GO try it! nothing you do will affect the main ontology. It will however generate files in cvs in ontology/editors/xp_submit/ (do a cvs update -d to get this dir for the first time) there's no constraints at the moment, but these are trivial to add. this means you can do stuff like "regulation of nucleus". feel free to try some of these for fun. we'll clear the xp_submit dir before doing any real submission. I've already added some garbage terms. it's not hooked up to Seth's autocompletion yet. For now you have to type the exact term name. the involved_in template will likely not give you the most specific placement in the dag, as we are lacking these xp defs in the ontology. the output is somewhat raw at the moment - it shows you * obo stanza of new term(s) * obo stanzas showing new links to assert elsewhere in ontology * obo stanzas of links that have become redundant (the "is_a" tag is preceded by a "-"). these 3 all get appended to the 3 files in the xp_submit directory. we can discuss the full pipeline later. For now nothing goes from xp_submit to the main go, but in future there will be a step where the ontology editors can run a script or use oboedit to pull everything from xp_submit into the main ontology.
